Watching these three windowed floors of a restaurant in downtown, each holding people siting inside immersed in their own moments, unaware of the others just above or below them.

From across the street, I watch and wonder about the conversations they’re having. There’s something intimate about late nights like this: people unguarded, suspended in routine and reflection. A meal, a pause, a conversation, a silence.

Everyone is somewhere in their own story, and for a fleeting moment, I get to witness it from the outside.
